About the Bethel Native Corporation
Bethel Native Corporation is headquartered in Bethel, Alaska where approximately 40% of the 1800 shareholders still reside. The majority of the shareholders are Yup’ik Eskimo people. Original shareholders born before December 18, 1971 enrolled with the Corporation in conjunction with the passage of the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA). Since then, descendents of shareholders receive shares through inheritance or gifting. Bethel Native Corporation stock can not be sold or traded.
